POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Poughkeepsie resident Richard Adams died Monday, May 16. He was 51.
A native of Sharon, Conn., Adams worked as a truck driver for H.G. Page for many years.
Adams is survived by his wife, Eunice Adams; his children, Teari, Tonya, Amanda, and David and his wife Stacy; his brother, Joseph Thorne Sr.; his brother, Samuel and his wife, Virginia Thorne; his brother, Robert Thorne; his brother, William Thorne; his sister, Theresa Alves; his aunt, Betty Jones; his grandchildren, Kyle, Anthony, Nathan, Carman, Samuel, Nina, Dennis, Logan, Anglisse, Chase and Peter; 14 nieces; 22 nephews; 14 great-nephews; and 19 great-nieces.
Adams was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Anna Adams; his brothers, Arthur Adams and Charles and John Thorne; and his son, Jesse Brown.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at The Clove Valley Bible Fellowship Church.
Funeral services are under the supervision of the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home.
